15th February Update: XRPL launch, Women In IT Awards, scam alert and more!

Back

After our exciting announcement at the beginning of the month that detailed how we had launched a token on the XRP Ledger, I am happy to say that testing has been going ahead. We are really happy with the testing that has been done so far and it is now safely in the hands of our developers to do further testing within the platform.

As mentioned in the previous update, we are totally aware that our users are really keen to get switched over to the new XRPL platform as soon as possible and we are continuously grateful for all of your patience. Once we are happy with our testing of the new platform, we will look to make the new platform live and have an exclusive switch from ERC-20 SVS to XRPL SVS for our existing users who have their tokens currently on the platform.

We will do this before we finalise the fiat on-ramp integration onto the platform, however, there will be the 2-way XRP/SVS swap function live. We hope that we will then be able to get the majority of our existing token holders familiar with the platform with any hiccups (hopefully none) being dealt with before we push to bring new users on board.

Keep your eyes out for an update as to when this will happen! We will ensure everyone is guided through the process.

Next week is the Women In IT Awards in London sponsored by the likes of JP Morgan and BP in which Leanne has been nominated in the Social Impact Of The Year category. Hosted at the JW Marriot Grosvenor House in Mayfair there will be a great deal of inspiring individuals in the room that Leanne will be able to network with and we are keeping our fingers crossed for a win.

We will be starting an online auction soon with great items and experiences in order to raise money for the Roald Dahl Children’s Charity ahead of the London Marathon. We already have secured some incredible auction items however, if anyone has any unique items or celebrity friends that would be willing to donate some signed merchandise then please get in touch with one of the team. Here's Lukes' Roald Dahl fund raising link if you'd like to support this amazing charity.

Finally, we are aware of a few scam social media posts doing the rounds again. If you are ever unsure of a post, please contact a member of the team. It is important to note we will never ask you for your personal details or wallet address and will only communicate to you from our official @svstoken social media channels.
