26th September Update: XRPL build, Zebu Live and more!

Back

Hi SVS community!

It’s been another packed two weeks for the team, so here's another update for you.

XRPL Build

The GTS Dev team have completed the security and robustness checks for the deposit and withdrawal system along with an update of the admin panel that allows the team to ensure everything is running smoothly.

Mobile UI has also been updated to reflect the changes made for the XRPL-SVS switch.

Furthermore, the history panel has been updated to make it easier for users to filter for specific TX.

Finally, work has now started on the backend engine that enables the one-way ERC20-SVS to XRPL-SVS swap. We expect work on this to be finished end of this week and work on the front end to start the week after.

Zebu Live

Some of our team as you may have already seen on social media were in Kensington towards the latter end of last week at Zebu Live! The conference was part of London’s Web3 week and was full of topics such as the Metaverse, GameFi, NFTs as well as the wider digital asset space.

Day 1 felt very community-based which was perfect and allowed us to really get into the heads of what people are seeing in the space, not only that, but the other things that you as our community are likely interested in! As CEO I want to be able to understand you all as much as I can to be able to make the best-informed decisions possible on anything that affects you!

It was also great to hear from the likes of Matt Hancock. Albeit a controversial choice of speaker, he really stood up for the crypto community. He was passionate about helping with crypto regulation and taxes and made compelling arguments that he can take to other policy makers, in order to influence the U.K. being a crypto hub. He is well aware that if the U.K. does make the right choices, we'll continue to be surpassed by other jurisdictions.

Day 2 was more focused on decentralised finance and crypto and delved into the future of web3. Another insightful set of speakers and exciting to hear so much positivity in the space!

Steven Bartlett was a key speaker with his fireside chat which, as expected was motivational and positive and it is once again great to see people of influence get excited about this industry.

Others that we heard great things from included the likes of Lord Vaizey (House of Lords), Diego Clerc from Binance and Ian Taylor the CEO of Crypto UK.

Next month we are back in London with Blockworks DAS (Digital Assets Summit). I am very much looking forward to it and feel this will be a great opportunity to branch out our network.

As always, I want to thank the community for keeping positive with us, and for the great efforts on social media!
