4th January Update: CryptoUK involvement, London Marathon fundraising, legal and compliance processes and more!

Back

Hi all,

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful festive time with loved ones and are feeling happy and healthy going into 2023.

Since the last update in 2022, there have been a few things that we can update you on!

Firstly, we have been featured in some more press. We are in Cryptonaire Weekly Magazine with a fantastic feature all about ways to earn and donate through crypto!

You can take a read from page 15 in the magazine here.

We are continuing our involvement with Crypto UK and are looking forward to being part of two new groups for the new year! The first is a tax working group and the other is a regulation working group. We will be at the forefront of helping advise policymaking and enquiries whilst sitting in groups alongside those from many areas of crypto, creating a great cross-sectional solution to the underlying problems crypto faces, going into 2023.

In other news, we have Luke representing us in the London Marathon in April this year in which he will be fundraising for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity. We continue to help fundraise for this fantastic charity and last year were able to send 30 nurses through Mental Health training for their patients and their families.

If you would like to support Luke with a donation, he has a fundraising page here.

Our XRPL build is ongoing and we are continuing to work with 3rd party payment providers for integration. We have been working hard to ensure that our fiat on-ramp provider is one that many will already be KYC’d with and that has a great reputation! We are also making sure that the appearance is finalised and on-brand and that the user experience is of high quality.

As we continue to undergo the legal and compliance processes, we are excited about the current stage we are at. Thanks so much for your patience while the team ensure that the build is of the highest standard!

We also have some potentially further good news. Previously it was brought to our attention that we may not be able to stay on the P2PB2B exchange. We have, however, made progress with P2PB2B in order to keep it as an exchange. We will keep you all updated and of course, it is not guaranteed until the build is complete but it looks positive as it stands.

Finally, we are starting our staff expansion and will be getting job applications out in due course, initially starting with the marketing department.

We have a bright 2023 ahead of us and I am looking forward to the launch of SVS on the XRPL.

All the best,

Leanne
